Training Packages

Training Packages are sets of nationally endorsed standards and qualifications for recognising and assessing people's skills. Training Packages describe the skills and knowledge needed to perform effectively in the workplace; they are developed by industry to meet the specific training needs of the industry or sector they cover. For a package to gain national endorsement, it must have extensive support within the targeted industry or enterprise.

More information on Training Packages is available from the Australian National Training Authority and the National Training Information Service.
