Verve – knowledge & skills is now in full gear organising the SpArta Training Awards evening on 13th July 2006. Building on the success of last year we intend to provide a shattering showcase to promote achievements of all those involved in vocational education and training in the sport, arts, culture and recreation sectors.

We are currently inviting nominations for our awards night presented to highlight the breadth and depth of achievements within the sectors. Nominations can be entered for the following categories:

• Outstanding Student – Trainee/Apprentice – Sport and Recreation
• Outstanding Student – Trainee/Apprentice – Arts and Culture
• Outstanding Student – Vocational Student – Sport and Recreation
• Outstanding Student – Vocational Student – Arts and Culture
• Outstanding Student – VET in School Student – Sports and Recreation
• Outstanding Student – VET in School Student – Arts and Culture
• Outstanding Student – Koori Student – Sports and Recreation
• Outstanding Student – Koori Student – Arts and Culture
• Employer of the Year
• Training Provider of the Year
• Training Initiative of the Year
• VET in Schools Excellence Award
