Just a reminder that Verve is presenting one public session for Andy Green, UK co-founder of Creativity@work:

Improve Your Creativity and Flexible Thinking.
Thursday 1st March 9.00 am - 12.00 pm at

Other News - SpArt 2007

Verve is currently putting together a program of guest speakers for our SpArt 2007 Conference to be held on the 28 & 29 June. The program topics are outlined below. SpArt 2007 Program

Session One: "Content and Community"

What are the benefits of the sectors to community? Developing content that is relevant to community. Culture and recreation as mechanisms for shaping identity and bringing a measure of social cohesion

Session Two: "Working Creatively Together"

How can the sector's work together rather than in competition over limited resources, share volunteers, venues etc

Session Three: Innovation and Niche Markets-

How can Australia effectively compete on a world stage? What are the road blocks to innovation? Use of new technologies. What do we do best?

Session Four: "Dealing with the Business"

Fundraising in a competitive environment, what skills make for a successful manager of a cultural or sporting facility, looking after volunteers, planning for the future and risk management...
