Attention: Teacher/Trainers and Students
SpArtA, Verve’s inaugural Awards night showcasing the talents and achievements of students, employees, teachers and trainers engaged in the cultural and recreation sectors will occur on the 19 June at CQ (Citiclub on Queens), 123 Queen St, Melbourne.
We are keen to start shaping the event early and incorporate as much student contribution as possible. In the past students from Swinburne, Box-Hill Institute of TAFE and Entertainment Training Institute of Technology, ETTI have helped create memorable SpArtA evenings and we would again welcome student assistance in the following:
● Event planning – Assisting the Event Manager to cost, plan and coordinate the event
● Design - “setting the stage”
● Entertainment – singers and musicians, dancers etc
● Displays – student “show reels”, storey boards etc

Competency Navigator:
Verve is currently the Melbourne distributor and trainer for Competency Navigator™, a unique internet-based skills assessment software that can provide an accurate skills snapshot for individuals. The Competency Navigator™ identifies competencies and translates these into nationally recognised qualifications. The Competency Navigator™ can also be used to determine current skills gaps and training needs. This makes it an ideal tool for individuals, training providers and employers to establish Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) and areas for further development. Organisations may also customise the software to suit their specific needs.
